Description: MCG10 Antibody: MCG10 is a member of the KH-domain RNA-binding protein family. Proteins of this family also referred to as alpha-CPs, bind to RNA with specificity for C-rich pyrimidine regions. Alpha-CPs play important roles in post-transcriptional activities and have different cellular distributions. MCG10 is induced by p53 and DNA damage via two p53-responsive promoter elements. Its overexpression in transfected cells results in the suppression of cell proliferation by inducing apoptosis and cell cycle arrest in G2-M. Decreased expression of one isoform of MCG10 has been observed in many forms of lung cancer, leading to speculation that MCG10 can act as a tumor suppressor. Multiple alternatively spliced isoforms of MCG10 have been identified.

Furthermore, the members of the TRPC6/6/7 subfamily can be activated by diacylglycerol (DAG) analogs, suggesting a possible mechanism of activation of these channels by PLC-coupled receptors. When expressed in transfected cells, TRPC6 acts as a non-selective store-independent receptor-activated cation channel. It is activated by DAG in a PKC-independent manner and is insensitive to IP3 activation. There is increasing evidence that TRPC6 encodes endogenous DAG-activated receptor-operated cation channels in vivo.

Description: The cytokine thymic stromal lymphopoietin receptor (TSLPR) is consisting of a common gamma receptor–like chain (TSLPR- gamma ) and a common interleukin 7 (IL-7) R alpha chain that belongs to the type 1 cytokine receptor family. Transfection of TSLPR cDNA result in only low affinity binding, while cotransfection of the IL-7R alpha chain cDNA shows high affinity binding. TSLP and TSLPR play a critical role in the initiation of allergic diseases in mice. The TSLP R cDNA encodes a transmembrane receptor containing 370 amino acids (aa) with two potential N-linked glycosylation sites and a cytoplasmic domain of 104 aa including a single tyrosine residue. TSLPR can mediate signalling of the signal transducer and activator of transcription 5 (Stat5) by TSLP. TSLP R is broadly expressed in the immune and hematopoietic cells, particularly in hematopoietic progenitors and myeloid cells.

ORAI3 is one of two mammalian homologs to ORAI1, a recently identified four-transmembrane spanning protein that is an essential component of CRAC. All three homologs have been shown to function as Ca++ plasma membrane channels gated through interactions with STIM1, the store-activated endoplasmic reticulum Ca++ sensor. However, ORAI3 channels failed to produce detectable Ca++ selective currents in cells co-transfected with ORAI3 and STIM1, indicating that ORAI3 channels undergo a lesser degree of depotentiation than ORAI1 or ORAI2. Na+ currents through ORAI1, 2 and 3 channels were equally inhibited by extracellular Ca++, indicating that each have similar affinities for Ca++ within the selectivity filter. This antibody is predicted to have no cross-reactivity to ORAI1 or ORAI2.
