Merck Supelco HPLC Columns
With the addition of the Supelco range of HPLC and UHPLC columns we can now offer the most complete range of stationary phases ever. Here you will find the key focus products from the Merck Supelco range to suit all of your chromatography analysis needs.
Purospher® STAR
The base silica of Purospher® STAR columns is 99.999 % pure. This extremely high purity allows the extended pH range that allows a wider range of analysis opportunities. Furthermore, meticulous care is given to quality control over all aspects of silica structure and chemistry. These factors ensure that the columns will always perform consistently, resulting in method reproducibility you can trust.

Chromolith®
To truly accelerate chromatographic separations, there’s no better choice than our Chromolith® HPLC columns. Due to their revolutionary monolithic technology, Chromolith® columns provide excellent separations in a fraction of the time required by conventional particulate columns.

Chromolith® WP300
Chromolith® WP300 columns have shown great potential and superiority in comparison to standard silica. In contrast to conventional packed-particle columns, wide pore (300 Å) monolithic silica columns are made of a single continuous bed of high purity porous silica that is then bonded with C18, C8, C4 and Protein A depending on the use of the column.

Bioshell
BIOshell™ columns are the most recent innovation in Fused-Core™ particle technology: high efficiency U/HPLC columns for protein, peptide, and glycan separations. BIOshell™ columns can be operated in HPLC or UHPLC instrumentation equipped with a mass spectrometer or any other detector.

ZIC®-HILIC
The selectivity offered by ZIC®-HILIC is suitable for a wide variety of molecules containing hydrophilic or ionisable functional groups. This includes compounds such as carbohydrates, metabolites, acids and bases, organic and inorganic ions, metal complexes, amino acids, peptides, protein digests, plant and cell extracts, plus much more. Such compounds are normally characterised by a small or negative LogP value and have poor retention on reversed-phase columns.

Ascentis Express
Based on innovative Fused-Core™ particle technology, Ascentis Express provides the high speed and high efficiency of sub-2 μm particles, but at approximately half the backpressure for the same column length. This lower pressure means that Ascentis Express can be run on conventional HPLC and LC-MS systems, as well as mid-pressure, UPLC™ and other ultra-high pressure systems.
