Supplier: HEATHROW
Description: These reagent reservoir chillers are the ice-free, non-toxic way to extend the working period and preserve integrity for temperature sensitive reagents. They are made from sonic welded, engineered PP that ensures a leak free design.

Supplier: BACHEM BIOCHEMICA
Description: zVAD-FMK inhibited apoptosis induced by diverse stimuli. Preincubation of cells with this caspase-1 (ICE) inhibitor (50 µM) almost completely inhibited the formation of large kilobase-pair fragments of DNA, a characteristic biochemical change associated with apoptosis.

Supplier: MP Biomedicals
Description: Sodium chloride is a commonly used chemical which is found widely in nature. It is considered to be an essential nutrient. Excess amounts of sodium chloride can destroy electrolyte balance and cause death in most animals, including humans.
Sodium chloride is used in a wide variety of biochemical applications, including intravenous fluids (normal saline is 0.9% w/v in water 10), density gradients 3,6, a diluent to increase ionic strength in buffers or culture media and in salt-out procedures in the isolation of DNA. It has also been used in high concentrations for preservation of foods since bacteria cannot grow in high salt conditions. A salt-ice mixture in the ratio of approximately 33 g sodium chloride to 100 g ice (at -1°C) will drop in temperature to as low as -21°C, depending on the rate of stirring and the size of the ice chunks.

Catalog Number: (ENZOALX850236KI01)
Supplier: Enzo Life Sciences

Catalog Number: (BOSSBS-11132R-HRP)
Supplier: Bioss
Description: A unique family of Cysteine proteases has been described that differs in sequence, structure and substrate specificity from any previously described protease family. This family, termed CED-3/ICE, functions as key components of the apoptotic machinery and act to destroy specific target proteins which are critical to cellular longevity. Nuclear lamins are critical to maintaining the integrity of the nuclear envelope and cellular morphology as components of the nuclear lamina, a fibrous layer on the nucleoplasmic side of the inner nuclear membrane, which is thought to provide a framework for the nuclear envelope and may also interact with chromatin. B-type lamins undergo a series of modifications, such as farnesylation and phosphorylation. Increased phosphorylation of the lamins occurs before envelope disintegration and probably plays a role in regulating lamin associations. Nuclear Lamin B is fragmented as a consequence of apoptosis by an unidentified member of the ICE family.
