The lid is removable for full width access, items can either be placed in the inner liner provided or in accessory dressing drums or basket. All models are heated with a 2 kW single internal element. Temperature is controlled by an electronic temperature controller and a PT100 thermocouple. After the sterilising period, a condensing vacuum is drawn to aid drying. This is particularly useful for dressings and drapes.

The variable cycle is stored in permanent memory so it can be recalled. The control panel shows countdown sterilisation time and current temperature. The end of the sterilisation cycle is signalled by an audible alarm. After the sterilising period, a condensing vacuum is drawn to aid drying. This is particularly useful for dressings and drapes.
