Urothelial Cell Growth Medium is a sterile, serum-free liquid culture medium designed for the cultivation of Human Urothelial Epithelial Cells (HUEPC). Delivered in the form of a basal medium, it becomes a complete and suitable environment for culturing HUEPC upon the addition of three supplement components.


  • Formulation is meticulously optimised to support the initial seeding of 6000 cells/cm², allowing growth up to confluence (approximately 75%)


The Urothelial Cell Growth Medium undergoes rigorous quality control measures following each production cycle. Every constituent undergoes thorough testing through a stringent biological assay. Each batch is specifically scrutinised for the proliferating characteristics of Human Urothelial Epithelial Cells (HUEPC).


The cells cultured in this medium are meticulously evaluated for various parameters including morphology, adherence rate, colony-forming efficiency, and population doubling time. This meticulous quality assurance process ensures the consistent and reliable performance of the medium, meeting high standards for cell culture and research applications.


Storge: Store the supplemented endothelial cell proliferation medium in a dark environment at temperatures ranging from 4 to 8 °C for a maximum duration of one month. Avoid heating the medium beyond 37 °C and refrain from using uncontrolled heat sources, such as microwave appliances. When utilising a portion of the medium, extract the required amount from the bottle and warm it appropriately. Never freeze the medium, as this could result in elevated salt concentrations due to the separation of pure water during freezing, leading to irreversible damage.
