Sampling drills for stalk material
Samplers Solid Samplers
The sample drill for stalk material is a sampler especially for hay, silage, straw, herbs, bushes or other stalky plant dry material where other drills quickly get tangled. The special geometry of the drill tip cuts effectively and quickly into different stalky materials.

  • Simple and fast sampling in the silo or on the bale
  • For grass plants, whole plants, silage, and the like
  • Effortless sampling with mechanical support

The hay and silage sample drill takes samples quickly, cleanly, and easily from a silo or bale. Sampling with mechanical assistance from a drill or powerful cordless screwdriver allows the sample to be taken effortlessly with little manual effort. The sample drill can be used flexibly both horizontally (sampling from above) and vertically (sampling from the side). The robust and durable tube drill is completely made of stainless steel 1.4404/1.4034 (316L/420) or aluminium/stainless steel 1.4034 (420). The practical ejector helps to empty the sample from the sample drill.

Designed for use in agriculture, for monitoring the quality of animal feed, in field crop storage, but also for quality control of stalk material as fuel or combustible, regular sampling must take place.

To use:
1. Mount the sample drill to the drilling machine
2. Place the drill bit on the sample material and allow it to turn slowly
3. Accelerate the sample drill carefully and drill into the sample to the desired depth
4. Pull the drill out of the sample
5. Dismantle the collecting tube from the drilling machine
6. Empty the sample into a suitable collection container using the ejector
