These thermoplastic waterproof labels are specifically designed to permanently adhere to vials, microcentrifuge tubes, microtubes, microplates, glass tubes, freezer boxes, plastic bags, and other specimen containers that will undergo long-term cryogenic and deep-freeze storage.

  • Temperature range: –196 to +93 °C (–321 to +199 °F)
  • Labels can withstand long-term storage in liquid nitrogen (–196° C), laboratory freezers (–80 °C, –20 °C), and transportation in dry ice
  • Ideal for the identification of vials, microtubes, microplates, and freezer boxes
  • Printable with all major direct thermal printer brands
  • No need for extra lamination
  • Strong permanent adhesive ensures labels will not wrinkle or peel

Providing a strong affinity to glass, polypropylene, polyethylene, and other plastic surfaces, these barcode labels will retain their adhesion to tubes through multiple freeze-thaw cycles without cracking or peeling off. Their slim design ensures these direct thermal cryogenic labels are compatible with most cryogenic storage systems, with minimal risk of being scraped off.
