Protecta® Cabloc® Vertical Lifeline System consists of an 8 mm cable which is terminated at the top by a cable ferrule and cable clamps at the bottom.

  • Quick and easy to install
  • Easy to configure to an existing ladder and/or pylon pole
  • Versions available with or without inline shock absorber
  • Cables are available in lengths from 5 to 200 m

Top bracket anchor is either of stainless steel or galvanised steel which is connected to two rungs of the ladder for spreading the load to provide increased strength. Likewise bottom bracket is also made either of those two steel types and designed with built in cable tensioning device.

Cables are made either of stainless steel or galvanised steel. When using a stainless-steel cable, a version incorporating a shock absorber can be used which removes the need for an inline shock absorber. Intermediate cable guide secures the cable to prevent damage occurring and are made from stainless steel and rubber construction. This should be installing at every 10 m.

Cabloc® traveller is designed either with or without shock absorber. This unit is lightweight and sits in the palm of hand. If this system available with shock absorber, then there is no need for external shock absorber unit. Inline energy absorber is either of stainless steel or plastic construction and it is rated for one user system.
