For oxygen-sensitive tasks and critical isolation of either the operator or the research project. Ideal for microbiology, biochemistry, plasma environment work, animal science studies, toxicology and electronics subassembly.
- Units feature two vacuum pressure pumps (one each for the transfer chamber and drying train)
- Each glove port is fitted with an ambidextrous glove made of Hypalon material for superior chemical and UV resistance
- Glove boxes have a bright fluorescent lighting system and illuminated controls
- Front viewing panel is sloped to minimise glare
- Units are UL listed, CSA certified, and CE marked
The units have a one piece, clear acrylic top and a die-moulded thermoset white bottom. A catalyst heater, containing aluminised palladium pellets, works in conjunction with the anaerobic gas mixture to remove trace amounts of oxygen from the chamber and maintains an incubation temperature of 35 to 37 °C. The drying train consists of three polycarbonate canisters each containing molecular sieves, which eliminate impurities from the chamber. Self-sealing quick disconnects allow drying train changes without disturbing the internal atmosphere. The transfer chamber has an adjustable vacuum gauge. Four ground key-cock valves allow purging. Inner door on the transfer chamber opens automatically when pressures are neutralised between the main chamber and transfer chamber. All clamps are adjustable to compensate for wear.
This portable trace oxygen analyzer features: three range autoranging (0 - 100/1,000/10,000 ppm), an advanced electrochemical oxygen sensor, and built-in temperature compensation. Oxygen values are continually monitored and displayed on an easy to read 0,4” high × 4,5” digit liquid crystal display (LCD). The analyzer is equipped with three oxygen alarm relays, one status alarm, audible alarm, three front panel LEDs for visual indication of an alarm condition, and two analog outputs (4 - 20 mADC and 0 - 2 VDC) for use with recorders or dataloggers. The # 800-DOI can be housed within the glove box or mounted externally.
Outside dimensions: 6,5” wide × 6,2” deep × 10,9” high
