These headspace vials offer excellent performance.
- Caps are blue polypropylene
Vials are made from Type 1 borosilicate glass and work well on PerkinElmer®, Agilent, CTC Analytics, Shimadzu®, Tekmar®, and other headspace autosamplers. They meet strict tolerances set by the manufacturer of the instrument.
Butyl stoppers can be used when PTFE is not required. Butyl/PTFE septa are an economical choice with low background peaks. Molded PTFE/butyl septa offer the tightest seal of all PTFE items, as well as low background peaks. PTFE/silicone septa are excellent for volatiles. Aluminum/silicone septa are also excellent for volatiles, but not suitable for repeat injections. Stoppers and septa with butyl are usable from –40 to +120 °C, PTFE/silicone from –60 to +200 °C, and aluminum/silicone from –60 to +120 °C. AlumiTin™ seals combine the ease of use of aluminum with the magnetic characteristics of tin.
Every glass vial is precleaned and packaged in an ISO Class 7 (Class 10000) cleanroom, in a box bearing the Class 10K seal. The result is a vial that exceeds most OEM requirements at no additional cost. Cleaner vials improve performance by eliminating almost all particulates.
