Paraffin

Paraffin is a traditional embedding media for histology


In order to achieve uniformous ribbon-sectioning quality, defined hardness and homogeneity of the processed material is necessary. This can be guarranteed through high quality raw materials and defined melting points. The melting point of paraffin is 56 to 58 °C. It is registered as IVD and CE certified product and can be used for clinical diagnostics.
