Primary Human Umbilical Artery Endothelial Cells (HUAEC) are isolated from the arteries of the umbilical cord and are often used for in vitro studies on atherosclerosis but also for endothelial cell-dependent lymphocyte activation and chemoattractant activity experiments.
- Von Willebrand factor (vWF) positive
- CD31 positive, Dil-Ac-LDL uptake positive
- Smooth muscle alpha-actin negative
Applications include: Angiogenesis research, atherosclerosis research, oncology, drug uptake studies, cell-cell junction investigation, inflammation studies.
Ordering information: Human Umbilical Artery Endothelial Cells can be ordered as cryopreserved or proliferating cells. Cell pellets stored in RNAlater® are also available.
