Human peripheral blood plasma used for researching the causes, diagnosis, supportive care and treatment of prostate cancer (PC), the most common type of cancer in men. Collected from IRB-consented donors diagnosed with PC.
Treatment for prostate cancer is a very active area of research, where newer treatments are being developed, and improvements are being made among many standard prostate cancer treatment methods.
No pre-screening is done on fresh products, but donors are tested on day of collection for Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, and HIV 1/2.
Storage: Store at −80 °C.
