Digital polarimeter designed for measurements of specific rotation, percentage of concentration, purity, percentage of inverted sugar and percentage of inversion (A-B) in pharmaceutical, chemical, food and research applications.
- Peltier temperature control
- Standard and low volume sample tubes
- Three decimal place resolution
- High definition colour display
METHODS system makes convenient access to measurement types including continual measurement of specific rotation, optical rotation, concentration and inversion. MEAN-PHR Method allows a number of different readings from a single batch to be analysed, with results minimum, maximum, average and standard deviation reported.
SMART temperature stability ensures accurate reading for pharmaceutical applications. Single-shot measurement feature provides a snapshot result at any given time.
Polarimeters accept standard glass or special low volume leur taper polarimeter tubes facilitating measurement across optical path lengths upto 200 mm.
The expanded memory is capable of recording over 8000 measurements for download as a csv file as well as storing a log of operator actions and instrument configuration forming an audit trail. Results can be saved and viewed or output to LIMS or Secure PDF. Calibration and configuration is password protected, accessible by keypad entry or using a fully configurable RFID tag.
Following extensive consultation with pharmaceutical manufacturers, the on-board software of ADP450 series instruments has been improved to meet not only the needs of the FDA regulation 21 CFR part 11 but also the demanding Data integrity (DI) needs of pharmaceutical manufacturers.
Certifications: USP, EP, BP, JP, FDA 21 CFR Part 11 or GLP.
